At 705, we are always looking for an excuse to say “thank you” for being a part of the credit union family! Here are the credit union events that happen each year. Annual Meeting
It maybe a meeting, but it’s still a party!
This once a year event is our way of saying thanks to all of the Section 705 members. What does this event entail?
- UPDATE: This event gives us a chance to fill you in on any changes or updates happening at the credit union. It is also the night that our Board of Directors is elected to serve.
- REWARD: 705 FCU gives away scholarships each year for students furthering their education at an accredited college, university, or technical school. The credit union pulls the names of two lucky winners from the batch of scholarship finalists. This group of students is put through our scholarship committee and must fulfill several criteria to get to this point.
- FUN: It consists of delicious food, a chance to win one of several prizes, and dancing with a live DJ!
- FAMILY ORIENTED: 705 FCU prides itself on being family oriented and this event is not excluded from this ideology. Bring your whole family to this event. There are prizes for our mini members, youth, and adult members.

Every October, credit unions across the nation celebrate the history of the credit union movement and the members that helped us get where we are today. The way we celebrate varies each year, but the sentiment remains the same. We want to say “thank you.” Without you, we could not do what we love.
