Insurance Options

At 705 FCU, we have several insurance options just for you! See which option works best for you. If you want more information, please call the credit union at 337-232-8450.

The products offered: (1) are not federally insured; (2) are not obligations of the credit union; (3) are not guaranteed by the credit union or any affiliated entity; (4) involve investment risks, including the possible loss of principle; and (5) if applicable, are being offered by an employee who serves both functions of accepting members’ deposits and the selling of non-deposit investment products.

We know that it can be nerve racking to deposit your hard-earned money and life savings into an account based on the good faith that it’ll be there when you need it. That’s why at 705 FCU, you don’t have to! Here, you can rest assured that your precious funds are insured and safe for as long as you have it in our care.

Each member’s funds are insured up to $250,000.00 and that limitation applies to the total of a person’s funds in any share account for which the credit union is liable. The $250,000.00 is cumulative of any share account, checking account and share certificate under the same account number.

In addition, any funds in a Credit Union IRA account are insured separately up to $250,000.00 from other accounts that the member maintains in the same credit union.
